These are great for a homemade valentine’s
gift and they’re heart healthy too as very little heat is used therefore you get the max amount of antioxidants and phenolics from
this chocolate and you add your own sweetener so you can control the sugar and purity.See my other post on the benefits of raw cacao
here
I used a silicone heart mould
that you can easily get from amazon, this recipe fills the 15 hearts nicely but
you can make more if you prefer your chocolates a little thinner
Recipe
-45g cacao butter
-30g cacao powder
-25/30g coconut sugar (choose how
sweet you want it or you can use 3 tablespoons liquid sweetener)
-1 & ½ teaspoons orange oil
Directions
Gently melt
the cacao butter in a glass bowl over simmering water, once its nearly all
melted then take off the heat and stir in the other ingredients
Fill the moulds using 1 teaspoon per mould, then go back over them if you’ve
some mix left or save it to make more once the first batch has set
Place the mould into the fridge for about an hour. These keep for a few weeks
in the fridge in an air tight container.
